Lift Your Heart with Optimism

Optimism brings lightness and warmth to life, especially when circumstances appear dark and cold.

Notice that when you are optimistic, you can meet any challenge. That's because you believe the best outcome will come to pass.

Living on the sunny side of life can significantly impact longevity and strengthen social connections. Your optimism lifts others. People love to be around positive people because it makes them feel better.

It is easier to mope and be upset about the things life has thrown your way. It takes a strong person to rise above adversity and be happy anyway.

A positive mentality impacts all aspects of your life, whether you want to improve your finances, health, social network of friends, or overcome life challenges.

Life throws us a curveball now and again, but it's not how many times we fall that matters. It's all about how we rise and continue on the journey. Let's face it: The universe rewards those with a good outlook on life.

Moving through life with an optimistic heart naturally aligns you toward your higher self. Coming from that perspective, you won't be afraid of failure. You realize you must look at the big picture rather than getting caught up in the small details.

Optimism is contagious. You recognize that every soul can exude optimism. This is the way to create a world that hums with laughter.

When you open your heart to what is true, honorable, just, pleasing, and commendable, life is enjoyable and positive.

Get happy, be motivated, and enjoy the journey!

Using Your Gifts

You are alive with spiritual gifts of strength, zeal, and life. Inner strength is a source of energy that helps you stay the course, especially if the task is difficult and you must persevere.

Zeal is your ability to start new projects or goals. It is the spark of energy you need to begin, the excitement you feel in a new endeavor.

Life is the energy that keeps you going after the initial excitement of a project fades away.

No matter the shape your energy takes, trust your inner guidance system and know you have all it takes to do what you are called to do in this life.

When you use your talents and gifts to serve others, you build stronger relationships because it shows you care enough to share a part of yourself.

Sharing your talents fosters collaboration and brings fresh perspectives and insights. This can lead to new opportunities while giving you a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Every gift is unique and bestowed upon you from the Divine. If you are uncertain about what your special gift is, think about these questions:

  1. What energizes you?

  2. Ask a trusted friend, family member, or mentor what they think your talents might be.

  3. What skills might serve your top-ranked problems?

  4. Which of these skills would you be interested in developing?

Your gifts require practice and dedication. Talents rarely come fully developed. Remember this: Choose to act with a purpose and never use your gifts for personal gain. Your God-given gifts and talents are powerful tools that can make a real difference in the lives of others.

Goddess Eostre

Eostre is a fertility goddess. Her annual arrival in spring is heralded by the flowering of trees and plants and the arrival of babies, both animal and human.

Eostre is considered a divine maiden that brings forth the light of day and blows the warm winds of springtime over the lands. Fields and trees become green again, and flowers bloom.

We all look forward to the spring season because of the freedom it brings. The new dawn, a beautiful harvest, productivity, and reconnecting to Mother Earth are the energetic components of springtime.

Reconnecting with the earth is like going back to our roots. We can reclaim our physical and emotional state of wellness and simultaneously connect with our humanity and help preserve the world that sustains us.

Allowing our bodies to physically connect with nature fosters emotional connection. Carving out 20 or 30 minutes a day to touch the earth with your bare feet is a powerful way to align your physical and mental health while strengthening your connection with Mother Earth.

We cannot separate ourselves from the Earth. She provides for us in so many ways: the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, the materials from which we house and clothe ourselves.

Let this spring season be a time to reconnect with Mother Earth and the goddess Eostre. Engaging in this reconnection can heal, balance, and ground us to higher levels of awareness.
