Calling Forth Your Dreams

Writer: MJ KaslinerMJ Kasliner

Dreams are one of the primary channels through which our souls speak to us. Paying attention to your dreams is a powerful way to uncover your calling in life.

You may notice that when you are open to your dreams synchronicities occur. It's as if you have opened up the portal to your unconscious, which dreams are naturally attracted to. Energy flows from the unconscious mind to the conscious, which is the act of creativity.

Dreams can help point you to your True North or what is known as your life purpose. This puts you in the driver's seat so you can plot your life destination.

Dreams can lead you to the unknown calling you away from the familiar or status quo. The unknown is where things happen. It's a place where big changes occur.

Water Element:

Dreams are associated with the element of water and align with the infinite universe. Navigating through the uncharted waters of your dreams is analogous to the unknown aspects of your true nature.

It takes courage to answer the questions of who, where, and why you are you. The only way to strengthen your courage is to confront it head-on by honoring the struggles and facing the challenges. In the next section, I include simple questions to contemplate.

To achieve excellence on your life path requires discipline, hard work, and routine. When you see the struggle as a necessary, important, and positive part of your journey, you experience true peace and personal power.

The connection between the high-frequency sacred water form and your second energy field (sacral point) transmits healing fields to the unconscious mind. This connection dismantles old patterns so you can navigate through your fears and advance on your journey.

The next time you have a dream, write it down, meditate on it, and notice where it takes you.

Courage Prompts:

In the article above, I mentioned the importance of courage in answering the question of who, where, and why you are you. Below are a few questions to contemplate. Take your time to answer these questions. It's part of the self-discovery process.

-- What in my personal life have I avoided doing, which might involve hardship but can result in improving my life forever?

-- How could I bring myself to face a situation that usually makes me nervous?

-- What good thing can I walk away from to advance my life?

-- Who needs me, and who will I fight for the rest of this year?

Stress Buster Poses:

Let's face it, stress is a part of the human journey. How you handle stress can make all the difference in how you experience life.

We all go through daily stressors whether running late for an important meeting, getting stuck in traffic, or anticipating an event.

There is a saying in yoga, "Your body keeps the score." Whatever we experience in life, the good, the bad, and the ugly is stored in the body.

As a result of this trapped energy, our muscles begin to tense, our heart begins to beat faster, our breathing rate increases, and we enter a mode of "fight or flight." Essentially, our body becomes restricted and impacts our overall health and longevity.

In the video below, I walk you through four stress-buster yoga poses that release tension build-up in the shoulders and spine.
